U.S. Marshals / Federal Pretrial Custody is not a separate public Alameda County jail facility with a local release feed. It describes the federal custody path for people arrested on federal charges, brought before a magistrate or judge, and then either released under court order or remanded to U.S. Marshal custody. Alameda County may be relevant because an arrest, hearing, or contracted detention arrangement occurred nearby, but the release confirmation is federal.
